Adult Mental Health Resource Centre
Serving the Communities of Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows
A program of the Family Education and Support Centre

The mandate of the Adult Mental Health Resource Centre changed in mid-2007. The centre can no longer provide referrals for people recovering from a mental illness or general referrals to community counseling resources. The centre will focus on providing public education on mental health issues through forums and other events. It will also provide a greater number of psycho-educational courses. While the centre will continue to maintain a lending library, it will only be available to participants in psycho-educational courses.

The AMHRC operates 24 hours per week. The centre is always closed on Fridays.

What we offer:

Public information forums and workshops on mental health issues.

Psycho-educational groups on depression, anxiety, relaxation, assertiveness and anger.

Free meeting space for mental health related support groups.
